Welcome to the Byler manifesto(? not exactly what to call this)! Basically, this is why you should ship Byler/ all the evidence in the show!

evidence from the show...

warning: major spoilers for all of stranger things ahead!

season 1

Throughout the first season, we get very few hints about Byler, but the ones we do get are worth noting.
In the very first episode of the show, it is revealed by Joyce that Will is called queer and the f slur by bullies. It is also implied that Mike is Will's best friend and they have the strongest bond out of everyone in the group.

season 2

During the second season, Mike and Will's friendship really starts to show. Mike is shown being very worried for Will and doing his best to make sure that Will is safe. Despite becoming possessed and slowly loosing his memory, Will is able to easily identify who Mike is and that they are best friends.

season 3

In season 3, the Party is shown becoming romantically involved with each other- specifically Eleven and Mike. The only person in the main cast to not have a significant other is Will, who constantly asks the Party if they want to play D&D with him. Will is shown to become increasingly annoyed with Mike after Eleven dumps him, to the point where they have a fight about it. This is where the infamous "it's not my fault you don't like girls!" scene comes from. Mike apologizes for the fight, but it doesn't change the fact that Will goes home and destroys Castle Byers because of the fight- or more to hide his real feelings for Mike.
At the end of the season, the Byers + Eleven move out of Hawkins, Indiana. When they move out, there are two scenes of Mike saying goodbye to his friends: one with him and Eleven, and another with him and Will. It is implied very heavily that Mike doesn't really love Eleven, but loves Will by these scenes.

season 4

In this new season we see a lot more of the inner thoughts of Will in particular. We also get a lot more of an insight into the way Mike actually views El and more of the realities of their relationship. Remember, up until this point the only contact they've had with eachother of a week of being practical strangers and 6 months of making out, and then a year of writing letters (in which El way lying consistantly about her life). Mike views El as a superhero, someone he idealizes and uses to fufill his need to be needed. They show very clearly in their fight in this season that he is unable to say that he loves her and the only time he actaully is able to is after very direct stepping in from Will. Will and Mike are shown to have a very deep bond despite their lack of contact and fight they have in this season. Some very obvious scenes that include Wills gayness include: the one where the girl hits on him and he just looks poliety terrfied, the one where he is like "i think its just scary to open up like that... be honest about how you really feel" William we know what you are, and arguably the most important: the infamous van scene. Mike is also gay as hell for so many reasons.
